Our History
Our Essex Road site in Basingstoke was the first of our Hampshire garages, established over 20 years ago. A major investment in 1997—covering advanced diagnostic equipment, extensive staff training, and full computerisation—set the foundations for the modern, reliable service we offer today. This forward-thinking approach allowed us to keep pace with rapidly evolving vehicle technology and build a loyal, growing customer base.
Demand led to further expansion, with new Basingstoke sites opening in 2002 and 2008, followed by Farnborough in 2012 and Winchester in 2016. In 2022, our Farnborough garage was upgraded into a full “One Stop Shop” MOT and servicing centre. Across every location, customers can expect expert care, honest service, and great value.
Our Pricing Strategy
We know that keeping car maintenance affordable matters, which is why our pricing is built on efficiency, fairness, and transparency. By structuring our team sensibly—ensuring specialists focus on specialist work—we avoid unnecessary labour costs and keep prices low for essential services. Our MOTs are just £45 because we carry out around 60 tests a day, allowing high volume to drive down costs without compromising quality.
We never inflate prices with “free” extras you may not need. Instead, you only pay for genuine requirements. As an independent multi-site garage, we choose the best-value suppliers and pass those savings straight to our customers across Hampshire.
Our Staff
Every one of our MOT testers is fully trained, authorised, and regulated by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency). This means your MOT is carried out independently by an approved, highly qualified tester who undergoes regular audits, including unannounced inspections and mystery shopper assessments. As well as MOT testers and mechanics, we also have qualified auto electricians.
Beyond formal accreditation, our team brings years of hands-on experience across MOTs, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. We pride ourselves on combining technical expertise with genuine customer care—offering clear communication, honest advice, and a friendly, approachable service. Warranty & Guarantees
All our tyres are fully guaranteed, EU approved, and sourced directly in the UK, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. If a tyre develops a defect due to faulty workmanship or materials, we will replace it with a brand-new equivalent tyre for up to three years, regardless of remaining tread depth or mileage. Each case is supported by specialist investigation by the manufacturer to confirm the fault.
All of our service and repair work using parts supplied and fitted by ourselves comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first).
Additionally, we are registered with The Motor Ombudsman, providing our customers with added peace of mind and assurance that any issues will be handled fairly and professionally.
Environmental
We take our environmental responsibility seriously and are continually expanding initiatives to reduce our impact. Every oil filter is disposed of safely and in full compliance with environmental regulations, while our garage is fully licensed to store oil and used filters on-site for future recycling. We also pay to recycle our waste tyres, ensuring that the material can be reused and that our waste output is reduced.
